After being barefoot for most of the summer, I could not bear the thought of wearing shoes in the colder months.

These wide toe box shoes were a perfect transition back into shoes during autumn, in preparation for winter boots. They are comfortable, flexible and cute. I have deeply enjoyed the Brown Gum color in a size 6. I know some people with bunions who have seen their bunions shrink since swapping regular shoes with this roomier option.

It can take some time to get used to them, if you have not been barefoot outside much. They held up in the wash for me and are easy to pack for trips.

*These do not appear to have the copper rivets in the soles for conduction/connectivity grounding purposes. I recommend Etsy if you are looking for footwear with that function. Be prepared to spend more money for that kind of barefoot shoe.
